Rewiring the Xtravert VFD with new controls

As well as changing the VFD setup to enable the machine to coast down after telling it to stop, I also had to change the connections from the pendant.

  • The e-stop needs to have its own input. On the Xtravert, this is the external over ride.
  • I need to change the start-stop mode to a sort of "push to start" / "push to stop" scheme, using"push to make" and "push to break" switches....
  • ...and add those very switches to the pendant. Currently I have a centre position (3-way) DPDT toggle switch that does both the direction and the start-stop.
So a bit of wire bodgery to be done. And some buggerage with the parameter setup.
